I was introduced to these beautiful scissors at a Hope Yoder Embroidery class about 5 years ago. Oh my! How much easier it was to catch threads and cut close little stitches with those curved pointed tips! When I teach I always use the 711-c’s as well. Sharp close cutting tips; well made scissors. I have at least a dozen pairs of my own around my hand and machine sewing! Plus I gift a pair to fellow sew it’s on birthdays, or special occasions. Love these scissors and so reasonably priced!
Is just as they stated
These are so sharp and the curve really allows you to access tiny spots more easily. I've even found myself reaching for these to rip out some seams as well, since I find the holes comfortable on my fingers. I'm back to buy another pair! :))
I love these scissors. They’re sharp. They have multiple uses, snip threads, cut heavier fabrics all in one use. They are shaped so you don’t mistakenly cut into the fabrics and the handles have large holes for your fingers.
I originally bought these to cut the jump stitches on my embroidery but have been using them to cut the bobbin and top threads of my mid arm quilting machine. The micro tips make it easy to lift a thread to pull the bobbin to the top.
